Is registration free?
Yes. Creating an account with ADL Retail is completely free. There are no registration fees, membership fees, or hidden charges required to access listings, participate in auctions, or use Buy Now options. You only pay if you successfully purchase a vehicle or asset.
What do I need to register and start bidding?
To register, you must create an account and complete identity verification using a valid government-issued photo ID. This verification is required to confirm your identity and comply with regulatory and institutional requirements. Once verification is complete, you can browse listings and participate in auctions.
What payment methods do you accept?
ADL Retail accepts bank wire transfers only. We do not accept credit cards, PayPal, cashier’s checks, cash payments, or vehicle trade-ins under any circumstances. This policy applies to all buyers, regardless of location or purchase amount.
When is payment due after winning an auction or Buy Now?
If you win an auction or your Buy Now offer is accepted, full payment must be completed within 24 hours. Payment instructions, including bank details and wire reference information, are sent by email after the sale is confirmed. It is important to include the correct reference number to ensure your payment is properly matched to your order.
What happens if payment is not completed within 24 hours?
Failure to complete full payment within the required timeframe may result in the cancellation of the transaction. In such cases, the vehicle may be automatically re-listed, and your account may be closed without the option to create a new one. These rules are strictly enforced to maintain auction integrity.
Are bids and Buy Now offers binding?
Yes. All bids and Buy Now actions are considered final and binding. By placing a bid or selecting Buy Now, you are committing to purchase the vehicle if your offer is accepted. Please ensure you have reviewed all available listing information and are fully prepared to complete the purchase before placing an offer.
Can I inspect or pick up the vehicle in person?
No. All sales are delivery-only. ADL Retail does not operate physical inspection facilities or showrooms. Buyers should rely on the information provided in the listing, including photos, descriptions, and available documentation, when making a purchase decision.
How is delivery handled?
Once payment is confirmed, delivery is arranged through insured, licensed transport carriers. Delivery is free for the first 1,000 miles. For distances beyond 1,000 miles, a flat fee of $1 per mile applies, regardless of the vehicle’s size or type. All vehicles are fully insured during transport.
How long does delivery take?
Estimated delivery time is up to 14 days within the United States and up to 22 days for deliveries to Canada, depending on destination and logistics conditions.
Are vehicles insured during transportation?
Winning bidders may pay via bank wire transfer, ACH, or certified cashier’s check, depending on the asset’s lender. Payment deadlines are clearly stated in your post-auction invoice. Once payment is verified, title processing and release begin immediately.
Do vehicles come with a warranty?
Yes. Vehicles sold through ADL Retail include a 6-Month Limited Warranty or 10,000 miles, starting from the date you take possession of the vehicle, whichever occurs first. In addition, all purchases are covered by a 14-Day reject or refund policy.
What is not covered under the Limited Warranty?
The Limited Warranty does not cover interior or exterior cosmetic imperfections, normal wear-and-tear items, recommended maintenance, or aftermarket accessories. All visible imperfections are disclosed in the listing where available.
Can I return a vehicle if I’m not satisfied?
Yes. You may return a vehicle within 14 days of delivery. During this period, vehicles may be tested for up to 1,000 miles. Returns are not accepted if the vehicle has been damaged, modified, altered from its delivered condition, or used as collateral for a loan. Approved refunds are processed within 48–72 hours, and delivery charges are waived.
Can buyers outside the United States or Canada participate?
Yes. Buyers located outside the U.S. or Canada may participate in auctions. However, all import duties, taxes, customs clearance, transportation beyond standard delivery, and legal requirements are entirely the buyer’s responsibility. Buyers should ensure all arrangements are in place before placing a bid or Buy Now.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
No. ADL Retail does not offer financing, installments, or payment plans. Because many assets may have liens that are only released after full payment, financing is generally not available. Buyers should be prepared to complete the full purchase amount via bank wire transfer within the required timeframe.
Why do you require a government-issued photo ID?
Identity verification is required to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) and regulatory obligations imposed on financial institutions and auction platforms. This process helps prevent fraud, identity theft, and other unlawful activity. Your information is used solely for verification purposes.
Are titles and ownership documents included?
Yes. Ownership documentation is provided as part of the transaction. Title transfer is completed after the buyer receives and accepts the vehicle. For remote transactions, ADL Retail handles the necessary paperwork and dispatches the signed title using a tracked courier service.
Can I cancel a bid or Buy Now after placing it?
No. All bids and Buy Now offers are final. Once an offer is placed and accepted, it becomes a binding commitment to purchase. Please ensure you have reviewed the listing details and are fully prepared to proceed before placing a bid or selecting Buy Now.
What happens after I complete payment?
After payment is verified, delivery coordination begins. Transportation is arranged through insured carriers, and delivery typically starts within 48–72 hours. You will be informed once scheduling is confirmed and your vehicle is in transit.
What should I do if I do not receive payment instructions by email?
If you do not receive your payment instructions within 24 hours of winning an auction or Buy Now acceptance, please check your spam or junk mail folder. If the email is still not found, contact support promptly to ensure there are no delays in completing your payment.
