Ford seriously upped their performance truck game with the introduction of the F-150 Raptor R. Although the truck shares many design cues with the standard, V6-powered F-150 Raptor, loud exterior badging and an oversized hood vent ensure that nobody mistakes it for anything other than an “R”. The Raptor R’s monstrous supercharged V8 gives it supercar-rivaling acceleration to complement its go-anywhere off-road ability. Production continues today.
Power comes from a 5.2-liter supercharged V8, rated at 700 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
